The Girl on Fire

Done with a rollerball pen. This piece is meant to be similar to the Buddhist monks that committed suicide by setting themselves on fire. They would sit still while meditating, and it was said the since they were deep in meditation they felt no pain. This was meant as a peaceful protest to the things that were happening around that time. And similar to these Buddhist monks, I am a pacifist, which is why the model is a woman. It also reflects my pacifistic beliefs.
